Only a week to go, ticket sales shifted up a gear, the committee working feverishly in the background on  last minute details and the excitement is building for what promises to be another fabulous Big Wheel Blues Festival. We hope you have had chance to hear the artists interviews with Bob Harrison on Manx Radio and also see the coverage in the local media but most of all we look forward to seeing you next weekend. Tickets are on sale on-line from this website and available from Peter Norris Music and Ramsey Music Supplies. Online sales will close at 1pm on the day of the  gig.

Thanks to the continuing generosity of our main stage sponsors, Cains Advocates, on Saturday May 2 the headline act will be Jerimiah Marques and the Blue Aces and on Sunday May 3 the headliner will be the Kyla Brox Band featuring Victor Brox. Saturday’s opening act is Rodney Branigan followed by the Rogue Dolls and Sunday’s opener is Miller Anderson followed by the Eddie Martin Trio. There is also a full programme for Saturday and Sunday afternoons with an array of local musical talent playing on two stages - inside the Pavilion Ballroom and outside (weather permitting) in the gardens - and also children's entertainment details here.

Saturday 2nd May Rodney Branigan o---------------o The Rogue Dolls o---------------o Jerimiah Marques and the Blue Aces

Saturday and Sunday afternoon will be ‘family time’ in Laxey Glen Gardens and we are hoping to continue to enhance the festival atmosphere with additional family entertainment and children’s activities.  This is in addition to the free concerts in the Pavilion Ballroom featuring two full afternoons of entertainment from local musicians. The committee hopes that the weather will, yet again, be kind for this central part of the Festival.

Sunday 3rd May Miller Anderson o---------------o The Eddie Martin Trio o---------------o The Kyla Brox Band

Both nights will be ticket-only events. Tickets are to be priced at £16.50 for each night – once again a complete bargain for so much music of international quality.
