"Kevin Brown is a fabulous steel guitar player and offers a lot more than your
normal steel guitar merchant"
Mark Knopfler
The Guitar Magazine, 1997
Kevin
is recently enjoying a second coming and since the launch in November
2001 of his first solo acoustic album
'Mojave Dust'
his reputation as a leading light in blues and roots recording projects has
grown from strength to strength. His latest release
Tin Church
is a wonderfull follow up and reviews are expected to follow in March 2006
'Kora Blues'
is a stunning collaboration with master Senegalese Kora player
Moussa Kouyate
and was released on Sept 23rd 2002. It further highlights Kevins reputation as
an inventive and extremely 'musical' slide player.
Kevin's return to the Isle of Man in 2006 is anticipated with great excitement
by the musical cognoscenti as well as Blues Fans generally.
