The Rebels are a changeable feast of players but on this occasion it was Dave
Wade, Kate Bass, Tim Davies, Johnny G and Dave Mclean. Guitar players have
included Martyn Thomas,
Pete Woodman (guitar and bass, accordion etc) and Steve Courtie.
I believe the Rebels began at the old Iron Pier in Ramsey some years ago when
they found themselves playing together on the mid-week blues and jazz nights.
This then became the nucleus of the Blues Club "house band" where they have
played more or less regularly since. I understand that they are no more as a
band but no doubt the players will go on and new bands will arise out of it.
