Gary Moore
12th December 2004
Gary Moore will be featured on BBC Radio 2's History of Rock programme on
Thursday 16th December next at 9.00pm.
The programme, presented by
Iron Maiden's
Bruce Dickinson, will hopefully concentrate on Gary's solo Blues work as well
as
the
Thin Lizzy
years (plus Skid Row, Rod Argent, BBM and the rest) but there is a lot here
for the those interested in the influence of the
blues on contemporary rock.
Also worth making a note of is the
Paul Jones R'nB Show
the same night, an hour
earlier at 8.00pm.
Guitarist and vocalist
John Pearson
who has worked with some of the great names of the Blues world from
Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee
to
Jo Ann Kelly, Roy Rogers
and
Alexis Korner
is the featured artiste in the
live session
.
