Concert In Memory of Chris Milligan
8th March 2006

In December of 2005 Chris Milligan, a good friend of a group of students at St Ninian's High School, passed away due to a rare form of cancer.

Chris was a much loved member of school life and his friends and school mates are setting up a concert in memory of Chris Milligan and for so many other children that have had their young lives curtailed so cruelly by cancer. The show aims to raise funds for Alder Hay Hospital and Macmillan Cancer Relief who do so much for people with cancer and yet struggle for resources.

This resourceful bunch of friends are planning a big concert of local bands to raise much needed funds and have booked the Villa Marina for the 20th of July 2006. Obviously they are aiming for the event to be a huge success and to sell the place out. But they need your help. They have already gained the support of Stone Creation who are good friends but they are looking to recruit local Blues and Rock Bands from all over the Isle of Man and would greatly appreciate any offers of support that all of us could give.

So if your band is available or you just want to contribute in some way to these hugely worthy causes and to the memory of Chris Milligan please contact the organisers by email: Just click here.
