Daniel Smith To Bring Band
12th April 2005
Daniel Smith that ace boogie woogie man and Main Stage artiste for 2005 has
just returned from Canada and the good news is that he is to bring his band
with him for the Festival.
George Pearson
, fretless bassist and acoustic blues guitarist of the highest order instills a
"unique, gritty, downhome blues feel" to the band and is a marvellous vocalist.
A Scouser and said to have been actually born
IN
the
Cavern Club
, known as the 'Sixth Beatle', with numerous tours, BBC
appearances and recordings to his name.
Damon Sawyer
is a young, dynamic "new kid on the block" but he's already toured and
recorded with a host of US bluesmen - an exciting percussion man
