RIVERSIDE LOSES LICENCE "SHOCK"
25th April 2005
On Friday last (22nd April 2005) Matthew Hamilton of the Riverside Music Room
lost his battle with the liquor licencing authorities to keep his licence to
sell alcohol and was stripped of it forthwith.
Urgent talks are now in progress either to find another venue or to licence the
Riverside by some other means but time is very much against us.
It goes without saying that ticket holders for the Main Stage will be offered a
full refund if a change of venue becomes necessary. They wil be contacted
direct by e-mail if the venue change takes place.
