Tickets for the Main Stage gig in the Blues Marquee this Festival Friday 2005
were completely sold out before the event.

festival fans as the last two weeks of the run-up to the event were shadowed by
the loss of the original stage location, a last minute application to the
licencing courts and the need to find a replacement venue. When the licence was
granted on Thursday the 12th May - just 24 hours before the kick-off - there
was a palpable feeling of relief and joy around the streets of Laxey as
organisers continued with the job of setting-up. And then the sun came out.
What a start to Festival 2005.
