Smiling Jack Plays La Coquette
22nd June 2005
In an e-mail to the Festival yesterday Smiling Jack Smith says that he is busy
breaking in a new bass player and working this week at one of his
favorite spots in
Madrid
,
La Coquette
, as a duo with
Antonio Toledo
|
guitarist
Antonio
Toledo
, a real monster he says.
He goes on to say "I am (also) really involved with a musical community on the
web called
garageband.com, if you go there click on the blues section and you will
find me and lots of other interesting players.
Hope you are well and happy.
Smiling Jack Smith".
Jack has been a regular correspondent with the Festival since his appearance at
the 2004 event and we are hoping he will be back soon, maybe in 2006.
