The Blues Community Mourns

The legendary Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown died recently

It has been a sad time for the Blues community over the last few weeks, with the earthly gig of some greats of the blues world coming to an end. They will be sadly missed.

James 'Jimmy' Trapp, bassist for Midnight Angels with Walter Trout,
R.L. Burnside R.I.P.
sadly passed away after a stroke on 24th August; R.L Burnside, the great Mississippi blues man who found fame late in life, died aged 78 on September 1st; the Grammy Award winning singer, fiddle player extraordinaire and guitarist Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown died aged 81; as well as Little Milton Campbell and Emery "Detroit Junior" Williams, who also passed away recently.
